Nothing is impossible, but some things are more difficult than they appear to be.

If you ordered the wrong stand, and you realize the mistake when it is delivered, the best thing to do is send it back and re-order.

The only interchangeable pieces of the Short Stand and the 1M are the fulcrum assembly and the guard rail supports. The stainless steel railing itself is not interchangeable. The curve of the rail is different for a 1M than it is for a Short Stand.

And, of course, the bolt-down positions in the deck are different, so if the order-mistake was not caught before the anchors were embedded in the deck, then the anchors are in wrong also. Our technical support personnel are taught to question people when the caller says he/she has a "one meter stand": "Is it our 1M stand with a ladder in the back, or is it our Short Stand mounted on a concrete pedestal at one meter?" A purchasing agent who has not seen any photos might not know the answer to this question.
