If you installed a Durafirm stand in the mounting position for a 16' Duraflex model diving board, and now you are buying a Model B diving board, this is what you need to do:

The main support assembly (the unit which has the fulcrum assembly attached to it) must be moved back to new deck anchors that you will put in 5 1/2" closer to the ladder assembly. Since the main support assembly has download forces from the diving board action, not up-loads, concrete inserts ("drop-in" anchors) will be satisfactory.

Unless this dimensional change in the installation is done, you will not get the higher performance that you expect. If your divers are recreational divers, not competition divers, you could postpone this stand modification; but the new diving board will need 6" extensions of the rubber channels to protect the reinforcing ribs when the adjustable fulcrum is in the full forward position.
